Tammy Edlund is the author and painter/illustrator of Actually A, a whimsical introduction to the alphabet for tiny humans. A lifelong learner who returned to college three times as a nontraditional student, she has shared her love of learning as a peer tutor, MCAT preparatory instructor, and professional preceptor. Her three children, ranging from preschool age to adulthood, inspire her interest in early childhood education and the creation of colorful books and activities for young learners.

Tammy is a pathologists’ assistant by day and a self professed “very slow drawer” by night. She considers each new project a reason to keep practicing and to keep learning. She also enjoys board games, writing, crafting, and discovering new parks around the Cincinnati area, where she lives with her family.
